Gold Winners at the NYX Awards 2023!

Creative Others is delighted to be honoured by the NYX Awards. Our “BC Hydro at the PNE Fair activation” project won the Gold Winners Award at the NYX Awards 2023 in the Strategic Campaign - Interactive Brand Experience Category.  This was a BC Hydro Activation at the PNE Fair 2022.

Our .Co-llaborators are what makes Creative Others so great! Our team of creatives consisted of Robotics and Electronics Specialists, Industrial Designers, Graphic Designers, Print Specialists, Fabricators and Event Managers.

The project for BC Hydro was to create an engaging and educational interactive installation at the World Famous PNE Fair in Vancouver, BC. The main goal was to showcase the benefits of going electric and what BC Hydro is doing for the community all while providing a fun and entertaining experience for visitors. The installation was designed to be indoors, taking into consideration such things as lighting, line of sight, and noise levels.

The end result was a fun, competitive, and interactive experience consisting of over 5000 custom programmed LED lights throughout. These lights were both for engaging with the competitive users as well as functioning as a backdrop for those more artistic content creators, all while reinforcing BC Hydro's messaging.

Winning this award is a gratifying acknowledgement of the immense effort and commitment that we, at Creative Others, pour into our projects. It acknowledges the inventiveness and originality that our team contributes, and it instills a feeling of triumph and satisfaction in all of us. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional team at Creative Others, Makers Labs, the PNE, and the team at BCHydro for entrusting us with the responsibility of executing this project.
