The .CO-tainer Bar
Project Overview
Client: Low Tide Properties
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Duration: 2 months
Scope: Implement an outdoor event system in a mobile shipping container format that supports alcohol service, food service, and retail service.
BRIEF
Low Tide Properties runs community events across Vancouver, from outdoor parties to neighbourhood festivals and block parties. Low Tide requested an event asset with quick setup and operational flexibility allowing use in a variety of hard to service locations in a temporary or permanently installed format.
The 20 foot self contained service bar was designed and fabricated in house to maintain quality and timescale. Multiple, iterative, design stages ensured requirements were met for the client and the events company for an asset used over many years. Fabrication diligently executed the design with skilful and honest use of materials focusing on longevity, functionality and aesthetics.
