The Brief

The brief was to design and build an activation to engage with the guests at the BC Rugby Sevens Tournament.

Considerations…

  • - Area footprint to be 10x10 foot

    - The back wall has a large printed graphic and a mounted 40” tv

    - Activation should have a fun aspect of chance for the public to get engaged with

    - An area to provide leaflets and other merchandise is required

The Result

The activation was a great success over the weekend it was displayed at the stadium for the BC Rugby Sevens Tournament. Guests were thrilled to be able to press the button and play the game of chance, with each section of the box flashing randomly until only one remained illuminated. It was an engaging and exciting experience for all involved.

The Process

1. Concept Design

Our concept design features a freestanding lightbox measuring 7.5' high and 3' wide. The box is split into four sections and comes with a button plinth. Guests are invited to guess a player and then press the button to play. Each section of the box will flash randomly when the button is pressed, starting quickly and slowing down until only one section remains illuminated. When the box is not being played, it will automatically switch to standby mode.

2. Detailed Design

• Transportable by pick-up truck

• Simple setup by one person

• Plug & Play!

• Reusable Print Graphics

3. Build and Fabricate
