Gold Winners at the Muse Creative Awards!

MicroCity Media Table

Creative Others is delighted to be honoured by the MUSE Awards. Our “MicroCity Media table” project won the Gold Winners Award at the MUSE Awards 2021 in the Experimental & Immersive Category.  Our MicroCity Media Table was the focal point of the “Transport 2050” event, organized by one of our major partners MRG events for TransLink.

Our team of creative geniuses consisted of digital programmers, 3D modellers, animators, physical craftsmen, to light/sound technicians. Each one of them played a significant role to bring this vision to life. We designed and built the interactive media table with a 3D Printed/Laser Etched translucent model of the Greater Vancouver Region. The media table showcased an animated view of the past, present and future of transportation in Vancouver on a bed of 9X 55” monitor displays.

The media table now permanently resides at Vancouver’s prestigious Science World Museum. It has also been showcased at Lego’s world-renowned “Towers of tomorrow” exhibition and the Pacific National Exhibition, 2021.

In the two years since Creative Others was founded, we have faced incredible challenges on top of those most startups would normally face. We have stayed strong to our core beliefs of Community, Creativity, Innovation and Challenging the status .Co and this award gives us the confidence to say we’re on the right track! We are very excited for what the future holds especially given the projects that are currently underway.

Special thanks to our awesome team at MRG events, our Creative Others Associates, Makers Labs, Forge Labs, Go2Productions and the team at TransLink for their trust in us to accomplish this project.

A good idea with passionate individuals behind it is what gets me going!

With training and work experience in Marketing, Event Management and Architecture along with being an International Sailing Coach for the past ten years I have been afforded the opportunity to work alongside many inspiring individuals and groups.

With this experience I came to realise my passion and strengths are within creating and building relationships as well as realizing an idea or team's potential and helping them present that potential to prospective clients both visually and verbally.

I am always looking for a challenge and for the opportunity to help an individual or team bring an idea/dream to fruition!
