Kidsport NWT / Connected Care

Project Overview

Client: KidSport NWT

Location: Yellowknife, NWT, Canada

Duration: 1 month

Scope: Design and deliver a KidSport NWT–branded, production-ready presentation that adapts the ConnectedCare proposal into KidSport’s voice, integrates NWT-specific youth mental-health context and data, and formats the deck for Schools, the GNWT and Indigenous partners.

BRIEF

KidSport NWT asked us to turn a ConnectedCare proposal into a KidSport NWT / Sport North Federation presentation they can use with schools, GNWT and Indigenous organizations. They wanted the deck reworded from KidSport’s perspective, to show how mental-health supports align with their mandate to boost sport participation in small, remote communities, and to include NWT-specific mental-health context and service-gap data. We rewrote the copy, tightened layouts into a clear, design-led slide system (grid, typographic hierarchy, balanced white space), added localized stats, maps and visual data for coverage/pricing/impact, and applied KidSport/Sport North branding so the deck can be reused as a template.

Considerations

  • Apply KidSport NWT and Sport North branding for a consistent, official look

  • Revoice content to speak from KidSport NWT’s perspective and explicitly link mental-health services to improved sport participation in remote communities

  • Add NWT-specific mental-health context and service-gap statistics

  • Tailor tone and calls to action for Schools, GNWT and Indigenous partners, using culturally appropriate language and suggested next steps

  • Tighten slide layouts with a clear grid, strong typographic hierarchy, concise headlines and visual data (charts, maps) so coverage, pricing and impact are legible at a glance
